Open Bible Christian School, established in 1971, was founded upon the teachings of
God's Word the Bible.  OBCS is a ministry of
Open Bible Baptist Church. Our
school has classes for K3 through the 12th grade.  We are accredited by the
Georgia
Association of Christian Schools and offer College Prep and General High School
diplomas.  Open Bible Christian School is a member of the Georgia Association of
Christian Schools and the
American Association of Christian Schools.  Open Bible
Christian School is committed to excellence in education.  We use a combination of
Bob Jones and ABEKA curriculums. We stress academic excellence, hands-on
learning and independent reasoning skills with a phonetic approach to reading
emphasizing comprehension.

In athletics, OBCS competes in the Georgia Christian Athletic Association.  For
boys in grades 7 thru 12, OBCS offers soccer, jv and varsity basketball, and
baseball.  For girls in grades 7 thru 12, OBCS offers jv and varsity cheerleading, jv
and varsity basketball, and softball.  

A full Music Program for all grades -  There are two major musical productions each
year for elementary, and one musical production for junior high. The junior and
senior high students compete annually in the GACS Fine Arts Competition in solo
and group competition taking high honors each year.
